About Fastnet Line Ferries
Fastnet Line are the new Swansea Cork Ferry operator. Fastnet Line were set up in the spring of 2009 following a long public campaign to reintroduce the popular car ferry service previously operated by Swansea Cork Ferries up to 2006.

Swansea to Cork Route
Fastnet Line operates the Swansea to Cork route car ferry to Southern Ireland from Swansea, South Wales in the UK. The ferry service operates year-round with four weekly services in each direction in the peak months of July and August and three weekly services in each direction from September to June.
The service is available to foot passengers, cars, caravans and freight traffic and since its launch in March 2010 has renewed a vital trade and tourism link between the UK and the South of Ireland.
The service eliminates almost 400 miles (600km) of driving on a round-trip from Cork to London. The overnight crossings ensure that you arrive refreshed and ready to commence your onward journey when you arrive in Cork or Swansea.
The MV Julia has capacity for 1,500 passengers, 350 cars, 40 trucks and with 300 cabins on board for a comfortable journey. Dine in style, eat informally or grab a snack with a choice of three restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Plenty to do for all the family with a cinema, children's play zone, a casino. |
